The nursing team at Hardeman County Memorial Hospital (HCMH) is the backbone of everything we do. From the moment you arrive in the Emergency Department to the day you head home, a dedicated nurse is at your side — monitoring, advocating, educating, and caring. Because HCMH is a Critical Access Hospital licensed for 24 beds, our nurses build real relationships with the people they care for.
We are not a big, impersonal hospital. We are your hospital. Our nursing staff is made up of registered nurses (RNs), licensed vocational nurses (LVNs), and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) who live and work in this community. Many of them grew up here. All of them share a commitment to providing safe, skilled, and personalized care — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What Our Nurses Do
HCMH nurses care for patients across every department of the hospital. Their work includes:
Our Commitment to You
Every member of our nursing team is licensed by the State of Texas and participates in ongoing training and continuing education. But what sets HCMH nurses apart is not only their credentials — it is their commitment to you.
We believe that the best care happens when patients and families are treated as partners. Your nurse will listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and make sure you always know what is happening and why.
